Tough race. NARBOLD (16) ran a good race fresh at Sandown Hillside, getting back in the field and working home solidly without threat to be beaten 2.75 lengths. Fitter for that and suited to 1600m, he can land much closer from the inside gate and take beating. QUANTUM IMPACT (11) presents third up having been beaten under a length in both runs back from a spell. Ready to fire. Similarly, DIVINE THOUGHTS (15) has been good in two runs back from a spell. She maps for every chance on speed and will be hard to beat. GAWNSKI (2) has won two in a row in easier company, too strong over 1800m at Murray Bridge last start. Will be hard to hold out. LIBERAMI (7) is right in the mix.
