EXCESS (2) has been a bit underwhelming in two runs back from a spell but her best would likely win this, and she wasn't beaten far despite finishing fourth of six at this track last time out. She should be at peak fitness now and should take catching. AZEEZLE (4) won over this route fresh in slightly easier company before a sound effort in this grade at Caulfield Heath last time behind Castellar, which ties in with Excess from their last clash. Azeezle is still on the up and will give a good sight. FLASH 'N' DASH (10) resumes having shown plenty of ability in his maiden campaign, last seen finishing a close up second at Bendigo over 1100m in similar grade. He's open to plenty of improvement and should run well. EPIC CENTRE (1) will find this easier than recent runs and could be a quick improver. AMINATU (3) is always a hope at this level.
