STARZAM (3) has shown signs of improvement since joining the Matthew Dunn stable and was a solid third at Ipswich last time out. He might not have won for some time but is at his right level and is sporting the blinkers for the first time at start number 27. Ryan Wiggins picks up the ride and the pair will be hard to hold out. CALCAREOUS (2) has been mixing his form and he will find this much easier than his last start at Doomben a fortnight ago. The pole position will suit him and he should be right in the finish this time. ORIGINAL GLAZE (5) was back in form on the poly track here last week when finishing runner-up and is normally even better on the turf surface. She is nicely placed after a 2kg claim and can go one better. GENETIC FREAK (1) just battled on a heavy track at Grafton last start after a narrow win at Ipswich before that. He is back in his rightful grade and should have a say in the finish this time.
