IRONBAR (1) is a lightly raced 5-year-old gelding resuming from a spell. He showed some ability last prep and has joined a quieter stable since his most recent start 11 months ago. He has form fresh up and should be ready to run a good race. GREAT NOTES (4) made up some good ground to finish second at Tatura in her penultimate start and then had her momentum stopped at a vital stage at Moe last time out. With a clear run, she is right in this. PARISSIDENT (14) did not handle leading last time out and faded in the run home. She will find this easier and with a quieter ride early on, she won't be far away. RIVAZZA (9) did a few things wrong on debut and that experience will improve her. She was well-found in the market that day and has the right draw to be in the finish this time. Each-way.
